My Hope for 2021

I started 2020 with this drawing, hopeful that it would be a better year than 2019. But as it has turned out, the year was not as I, and surely everyone else around the globe, have imagined it to be or hoped to be.  Who would have thought that in 2020, the whole world would come to a standstill, with most forced to stay at home for the safety of everyone? As of this writing, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has already infected 90.1 million people worldwide and has killed 1.9 million of them. The numbers continue to rise to this day. And although vaccines are about to be rolled out, the global pandemic does not seem to be ending anytime soon. A more contagious variant of the deadly virus is being detected in many countries, sparking fresh fears and uncertainties. Having said that, it's difficult to hope for 2021 with the same measure of hope and excitement that I had at the beginning of 2020. But nonetheless, I choose – no, I push myself – to continue being hopeful until every ounce of hope wi

Keep Your Hands Clean

Here are illustrations I did during the 2020 Global Handwashing Day.  Proper handwashing has never been more crucial since the start of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Keeping our hands clean with soap and water is one of the simplest but most important habits we can have to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, thereby protecting ourselves and our loved ones.
